Laverda's small sports 125, built around a Zundapp-sourced liquid-cooled two-stroke engine, aimed at young riders who wanted an Italian alternative to the German KS 125. The Elegant was the touring-minded version, set apart by a rectangular headlight, different wheels and gold trim (Wikipedia mentions black and gold paint), on the same mechanicals as the base LZ.
